EGALITE LLP, Lawyers is a boutique-type legal firm, located in Ottawa, Canada's capital city. We are dedicated to the successful and timely resolution of clients' legal matters. Lawyer Jim Egalité graduated from the University of Ottawa law school in 1989, where he originally completed degrees in Political Sciences and Philosophy, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1991. Thereafter he completed a Master of Laws in International Business Transactions at Exeter University, England. Jim also attended the 1990 Summer Session on Private International Law at the Hague Academy of International Law, Den Haag, Holland and in 1998, was admitted to the New York State Bar as an Attorney.
The Egalité practice focuses on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including residential and commercial real estate, cross-border transactions, incorporation, Canada and US Immigration. Our aim is to provide clients with competent service, always with a personal approach.
